Whew, has it been a wild last few weeks for us. We got the joy in spending a week with Payton, which we had a blast but now he is gone and its sad for us and we pray for him and just hope the best for him. Hopefully we made an impact in the little man's life over the last 2 years.
Well we are enjoying our spring break vacation. We are in Colorado until Friday. We will be heading home a couple of days early due to the weather. Weve had a great time visiting all the family.
I have been super busy making wedding things for my best friend who is marrying my brother in law. (weird I know) I have made shower invites, bachelorette party invites, centerpieces and tomorrow I we are going to work on bouquets, place cards, and programs. I'll post pics of everything when I am done. Lets just say my Cricut is getting put to great use!
So since we are on vacation we have gotten 2 calls this week. One for a set of brothers ages 1 and 3 and one for a set of sisters ages 9 mo and 2! We are excited and hoping we get a "yes" on one of them! We have gotten 3 calls in the past and haven't gotten any of them. They either go to family, go somewhere else or we just don't hear from their caseworker. We want some kiddos so bad. I know that may sound bad to some of you reading this so let me explain, everyone knows that their are kids out there that are not getting taken care of properly, I want the opportunity to help that child and family. I am not saying I want a child to go through that I just want to be there to help and impact their lives when a child does have to endure it. Sadly enough it will never stop happening. I pray daily for "our kids" that whatever they are going through that we can be the best that we can be for them when they get to our house. I pray that the Lord prepares my heart and mind for the emotional roller coaster that we are about to ride!
